Inline Grade Editing
The inline grade editing feature allows teachers to edit or modify grades directly within the Gradebook for any assignment that has already been graded and submitted to the student.
Step 1: Navigate to the Gradebook
Go to:
Gradebook > Classes > Class Summary Report, then click on the class name you want to edit to launch the Student Summary Report.
Once inside the Student Summary Report, look for the edit icon in the shape of a pencil.
⚠️ The edit icon will only appear for assignments that have already been graded and submitted by the teacher.

Step 2: Edit the Score
Click the edit icon. The graded score fields will become editable, and a save icon will appear.
You can:Edit multiple score fields at once.
Click the save icon to apply your changes.
Once saved, the system will automatically convert the new scores into percentages.

Note: No Editable Scores Available
If there are no eligible assignments for editing, a pop-up will appear:
“No assignment available for Inline Editing.”
Error Handling
If you:
- Don’t make any changes after clicking the edit icon, or
- Click save without editing, or
- Try to leave the page without saving,
You’ll see this error message:
“No changes were made. Returning to view mode.”
Step 3: View Updated Scores
Once you click the save icon, a message will appear to confirm that the scores have been successfully updated.
The updated scores will appear in both the grade evaluation and student details report. The changes will also be reflected in the assignment evaluation.

Important Notes
- If you reassign an assignment after editing, the score will be reset to zero.
- Updated scores can be downloaded and printed as needed.
